Cross-country eta trip: made it this far...

    [Now in Effingham, IL]

Picking up the eta in about 3 hours. Signed up for an AOL account, and am hoping to post photos of the in progress solo cross country trip. And/or if my eta is for sale somewhere in the west at firesale prices.

I've had some thoughts on the roof of the car (worst part of the paint) and am thinking I'll get my brother to paint it gloss white... prep for the future weekend racer that this car will eventually be.

    Photos coming soon!

Oh dude, you got it. it is a damn eta! as long as it doesnt overheat, and has at least a half quart of oil, you will easily make it.

bouncing off the r3vlimiter everyday and the car still kicks.

I know this puppy, w/ 100k, has barely popped its cherry... but I don't want to jinx myself before I'm out the door.

Going from Pittsburgh gray to SoCal shine is freakin AWESOME. More sunlight to come in the next few days.

EDIT: Original BMW radio works, and I've got the iPod loaded w/ about 8 mixes and 60g of music.

Though the opportunity for our cars to meet would be a lil sentimental, I flew in through Denver, and it looked like alotta snow... I am sticking south.

                  First stop:

If you bring enough good pictures back, I will be glad to assist you in making it into a scrapbook that can reside in the "media" part of this site. I could make it into a PDF or some sort of format that is readable to everyone.

good luck! watch out for popos in Arizona and new mexico if you take that route...

Shucks.. if you can get a pic of you with the popo, with his car behind your car and the lights flashing, you would be THE MAN. And if you get a speeding ticket and you take a pic of the popo handing you a ticket you would REALLY be the man!
