Well, Mr. Bagger, you are partially correct. That is my slide-in camper, aka- home-away-from-home at the race track. It's great for sleeping in, haven't tried to make any shine in it.........yet.

I do plan to put a hurtin' on an E30 with the 'hoe sometime soon- pics will be posted. :)

So far I've only used it a little to dig out a couple of drainage ditches on the farm- works like a champ!

2 control sticks that move both back an forth an side to side to control all the "hoe" boom, stick, an bucket functions. Instead of 1 lever going back an forth for each an foot pedal for the swing.

Wobble sticks are much smoother an easier to lean how to run with out swatting things you dont want swatted.

I work around heavy equipment all day an run it a fair amount as well.

Just to piggy back on what mrsleeve said, wobble sticks make it much easier to do multiple motions at the same time to where the boom and the bucket can extend and scoop up or dump out dirt in one graceful motion as if it was a human arm.

On a backhoe with multiple levers for each segment you are more likely to jerk it if you are inexperienced because you are trying to work 4 levers with 2 hands. So you go to extend the boom.. and then you let the boom handle go in order to grab the bucket handle, the boom will abruptly stop.

I don't have much experience with the backhoe but they made us work the doggone thing when I was in forklift training. Of course I couldn't resist asking the instructor why we have to learn to work a backhoe if we work in a warehouse.. and I asked him in a not so nice way. To make a long story short, he refused to certify me for anything other than the motorized pallet jack.

Shit, a new fullsize backhoe would cost $75-100k- Fuck that.
