Diving board 1 - Deer 0

yeah, that's right. a goddamn deer decided to run right into me while i was driving home last night. the drivers side front of the diving board hit him right square in the hind legs and the drivers side fender at the headlight area shoved him out of the way. i wasn't even close to speeding and there was no apparent damage to the car thank christ. i saw him standing on the right side of the highway and eased up as i approached. apparently my telepathic "don't you fucking think about it" wasn't received and he decided to trot right out in front of me. bastard deer.

Deer meat for someone. The things have hardly any predators now so they are everywhere. Almost hit one last evening on FFX parkway.

Thats the funny thing about deer.. they seem to wait right until you get up on them to run out on the road. Its something about the sound of the car that alerts them or startles them into running at that exact moment.

But then again I wonder why they sometimes just stand there on the road looking at my car as I approach- hence the term "Deer in the headlights". They will run from a guy with a gun dressed in camaflogue but they will stand on asphalt and wait for the car to come.

When I was a teenager I hit a deer and I thought I was going to get into trouble with the cops because they were right behind me when it happened. And all the cop said was, "Do you want this deer?" and I was so petrified that I cannot even remember what I said. So they picked it up, put it in the trunk and drove away.

I hit a deer at 80mph in mine when i had a driving board on the front of car. Broke the trim on the bumper and turn signal lense + left fog light and put a crease in my front fender. I've been lucky, i've only hit 4 deer so far since i been driving.

The flare in my m3 fender once stopped a deer. My friends and I now refer to it as the deer with red teeth.

My old baseball coach bow hunted deer in FFX. Mostly vienna though.

When I volunteered at a food bank, they would get shit tons of deer meat from a slaughterhouse in springfield that hunters would take their game to.

i drove my friend Jeep from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon a couple days ago going to see the sunrise, damn moose almost came out in front of me and that would have sucked. i dont know how you guys even drive at night! Florida only has turtles, rabbits, and coons coming on the roads

Actually if you look at the bumper i got with the car, the VIN on the bumper matches my cars VIN, and the bumper is in perfect shape, despite the damage inflicted onto the car. so the bumper did win, but the mounting hardware didnt.
