    E36 header question

    Here is a link to an auction on ebay for E36 6 cyl headers:



    As you can see, the headers look exactly like the stock exhaust manifolds on the 96-99 E36 M3. The only difference is these are chrome and do not have the special emissions holes.

    The auctions claims they are ported.

    My question is this:

    I have in my posession a pair of stock manifolds from a 98 M3 waiting to be installed on my E30M50. Do you think it would be worth it to get these easily affordable headers, or should I just stick the stock manifolds as they are probably exactly the same as the headers on ebay.

      Edit: Oh, and the ones on eBay have the same O2 ports that yours have...there're just prettier that yours.

        Stay away from those! They only look nice for about a month.On another board about 2 months ago they were talking about how the finish chipped off right away.Aside from the fact that the "Dyno plot" is a fake.Just look at the torque curve vs the hp curve.This was proved over and over with real dyno plots.
