    R3V equivalent for E36's?

My friend is gonna be getting an E36 soon and I was wondering if anybody knows of a forum that's as good as this one but for E36's. If he was getting an E30 he would be perfect for R3V because:

    1. He Cares about performance more than looks
    2. He has single minded respect for BMW, he knows that everything else sucks
    3. He is very very good at making fun of people who he doesn't like

I want to get him pointed in the right direction. Thanks

There is no such thing as a good e36 forum, I've looked for 3 years.

Tell him to slum around bimmerforums with his bullshit filter set to "high".

E36's don't have nearly the cult following that E30's do. It's hard to find an E36 board. Try BMWPlanet.

This isnt a direct link because I am a lazy bastard but on performancebmwmags website I remember someone mentioning a site called like e36-sedan or something to that effect.

E36's are for yuppies. Hence, majority of drivers suck at life. Might try Maxbimmer too, as well as Bf.c. I think most owners at bimmerforums would be E36, but they are probably worthless.

E30's are for ethusiants. 2002s are for the same crowd as E30s......but they have a LOT of money to spend on restoring.......

Yeah, I see lots of E36's running around here with riced out shit on them, altezzas, big ass ugly wings, chromes, it makes me sick..

That, and all my friends think E36's look better. i once asked if I got an E36 if they'd stop givin me shit, they said yes.

Just because of that, I say E30's forever. Nothing looks like an E30. I do love E36 tail lights though! There are barely any nice E30's around here, and they stand out so much more. I love hearing people say I'm rich when I drive a car worth 2 grand...

                Another plus, cheaper insurance.

Actually, E30's and E34's are the yuppie cars, as they were teh BMW's that "yuppies" were buying in the late 80's when the term arose.

Young urban proffesionals, of the 80s, yeah......but the heart was still in the cars though. E36's are the weaksauce. They're . The E30 kept something the E36 gave up to please them more. Those same sacks of crap buy BMWs, and care more about the badge than the drive, but the 3 series still was rooted right in the E30.....before it got all soft.

Me too, as a daily driver though while my e30 becomes a garage queen/project car
