Anyone fond of the beetle? 66 convertible

I'm not too much of a fan but this one is cool to me. 99K one owner. Came in for some carb work.... I remember when I was a littler version of myself, beetles and Combis (the bus) were all over Brasil. Sorry about the pic quality, snapped with my cell.

      I disagree.

p.s. "technically", ALL cars are air cooled in an indirect manner.

Nice Vert, we had a 56 with a Hubermuller top abot 12 years ago. After working on it for years sold it for good profit. 36 hp is just not for US roads thou.

aaaah, but what kind of gas mileage do you get on 36hp?

36hp! haha, in Rio it's pratically a law to speed up/speed by a beetle when you see one in front of you.

I've had terrible experiences with air cooled bugs melting down on me and leaving me stranded, so the only air cooled things I will pilot these days are bmw motorcycle or bicycles.

Bugs used to be my thing. I had a 63 sitting on a 71 IRS pan with a 4-wheel disc conversion and a 2270cc T4 stroker in the back.

Yeah, it was not your average Bug....

I have video of it somewhere too... It would lay to waste first gear and rock second...

VW buses. In any variety as long as it is no newer than mid 1960's.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
