Help me out with this guy on Bf.c

I usually don't really care, but there's this guy on Bf.c (e30 forum) that is intent on spreading GLARING misinformation concerning the M50B25.

He insists that the non-vanos M50 has 171hp, and that the only reason ppl do an M50 swap is to get more valves.

If those of you already registered on Bf.c could please chime in and correct him, I'd be much obliged, and thx in advance. And the more ppl that post, the better of course.
