yeah that should all be fine with the E30. That changer is HUGE though!
I just did a premium sound system swap + HU + changer (everything but the amp) in tara's car last year, so I can help you out if you have trouble. My mountains are better than yours. -
You could get a really nice Clarion headunit for that much. I wouldn't spend that much on OEM stuff made back in the late 80's.
But, if that's what you want to do, then go for it. It'll definately match the interior, and disc changers are always nice to have.- Sean HayesComment

better make damn sure the changer will work with the head unit. Alpine head units wont work with pioneer changers, and vice-versa.Originally posted by graphikwell this one has got out of hand, im just gonna purchase a premium head unit and changer seperately and a much lower price. thanks for all the help!

It doesn't sound good either. I've inspected the stock premium system; I'm not sure how they can even use the word 'premium' to describe them. It's definitely false advertizing. Spend your money on some decent aftermarket audio components. They'll sound MUCH better than some mid '80s 'premium' system.Originally posted by graphikthe stock premium system doesnt sound bad. that and it matches very well with the interior.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment
