    Crankshaft Identification

I have come into possession of a mystery crank. All I know is that its for a six cylinder. It has the following numbers in various places. 1403866 S2 038 BMW. If anyone knows what this is, please let me know.

Edit: The digits may be off, I was tired when i looked it over and its hard to be sure. Will have to confirm these a little later.

the bore spacing and stroke would be nice clues.

bore spacing would be from center of each rod journal to the next and throw would be from the center of each main journal to the center of an adjacent rod journal?

Okay so the two numbers of interest that are cast into the crank are 1403866 and C38.

the main journals are 60mm in diameter with a spacing of about 91mm. Rod journals are 45mm dia. with same/similar spacing. Stroke was measured (eyeballed) at about 49-50mm.

those pictures have matching numbers. So im beginning to get happy in the pants.

Someone please help me confirm the strokerness.
