    Tokico VS bilstein

I can get both on ebay for the same price - which is better for a stock ride?

I've heard from various people that Tokicos are subpar quality compared to Bilstein/Koni.

I've had a few cars through the years with Bilstein Sports and I've never been disappointed.

I hope you arent expecting sports or even HD's unless they were advertised as such. You probably got Bils touring shocks. Not as performance oriented, but they should be fine for your GF's car.

Yeah, I'm sure they were tourings. For 170 shipped for all 4 corners i can't complain. Hers are completely blown.

Tokico aren't all that bad surprisingly.

I've driven cars with both and was hard pressed to tell the difference. Granted both cars had them recently installed (under 1year) so who knows what time will do to them.

In my opinion Koni is #1 and tokico whites or billy sports/hd's are a toss up, depending on whether you want the adjustability or not. As for tokico blues they blew out in no time for me (with ghetto coils, 450lb springs :)) Whites lasted maybe 2-3x longer, and koni sports were fine for a while then I sold the car. I want koni's for my e30 though
