Birthday present from the police in Kentucky

I was driving down to my family's boat in Kentucky this weekend. Drove from St. Louis (2.75 hours) and got a ticket 1 1/2 miles from where I was going. Dumb me, the road looked just like an interstate, so I was driving at interstate speeds and got nailed coming around a turn doing 78 in a 55. The cop was nice though and wrote the ticket for 65 if I plead guilty.

Anyone here gotten a ticket in KY before? The ticket is marked "Payable" but on the back there's no amount written in to pay. I don't know if there's no fine for 10 mph over the limit...or if he just forgot. I'm thinking about just sending in the ticket as a guilty plea with no check.

In IL atleast, the back of one of the tickets (you get two copies: one to keep, one to mail) has the fine information. The same info is on the envelope I believe.

If all else fails, call the court house.
