What car magazine is this mascot/cartoon from???

I am trying to find this out for a friend, as well as working on an idea for a logo for a new division of my compay. What I am trying to find is where this little cartoon guy is from. I know its a car/truck/motorcycle magazine, but I went through all of mine and can't seem to figure it out. The guy I am talking about is a little cartoon of a guy thats wicked jacked, white and blue hat pulled down over his face, blue and white t shirt I think, and a teeth that have no vertical lines drawn in. I know its vague, but if I remember right I think he was in some sort of tech section cartoon, or some sort of ad that had something of the sort in there. Its driving me absolutely nuts that I can't find this damn little cartoon guy!

Anybody know who I am talking about? Its probably an American car magazine more than likely, or a sport bike magazine, but I'm not sure.

Current... I remember seeing it recently, but I can't find it in any of my Jeep or 4x4 mags, or motorcycle mags either. I know its definately auto related though

Nope not Rat Fink. I looked through a bunch of magazines today trying to find it, too, with no luck. It might have been on an ad, but I almost postively remeber it being as a cartoon column with a bunch of motor stuff. More or less like a cartoon tech section towards the end of a maybe Hot Rod, Super Chevy, Truckin, etc. Something like that. It could have been a Motocross magazine, but I dont think so.
This is driving me frickin nuts! I cannot find this damn character, and I want to model a character after it for my other division logo.

i know what you're talking about... and i could swear its from a consistent ad in something like super street or import tuner. I would say like the NOPI guy but i'm pretty sure thats not it.

Nope, not the NOPI guy, this guy almost reminds me more of a comic book type cartoon guy, the drawing style at least. I just remember that the guy was also jacked, and I dont think u can see his eyes at all with the hat waay down covering his face. This is driving me nuts! I cannot find this little dude anywhere!

It allmost sounds like your thinking about the guy off of Fat Albert and the Junkyard Gang. But that's propobly not the case.

was it the one where his mom bought him a civic? and he wanted to race everyone in it or something like that? i think that was import tuner, but they don't have that in the issues anymore, as far as the name i dont remember that either. ill try and dig through my old ones if that rings a bell.'

i know exactly what you're saying, i know i've seen it. its not the nopi guy but some other company that has big ads in every issue of one of the import rags.
