        oh, and everyone who posted links to cone filters... last time i checked, the airbox routes air from the front of the car where the colder air is usually located. where as a cone filter will draw in air from the engine compartment which is usually pretty hot. heat shield or not, your going to loose power with a cone filter.

        cone filters are only good for looks and neat looks. if thats what you want. go ahead. if not. save your money and invest in a chip, lsd, suspension, wheels, tires etc. etc.

        waste of money IMO

            I have a CAI. Didn't do anything to my car. Can't feel a power gain and don't think I can feel a power loss. I like how it sounds though and I put it in when I was young and want to be "fast and furious" looking. Anyways, if you are looking for performance don't waste your money. I probably wouldn't do it if I had a second chance but I did and it will stay on the car and I will wast 4 hours of my god for saken life to clean that fucking filter every 2 months...what a bitch to do it right.

              x2 i just got a stock airbox to replace my cone, but i think im gonna put the cone in the stock airbox for a real CAI/cone filter setup, more will be posted upon completion, and i realize it will probly net no gain whatsoever, and i realize its rather pointless, but im still gonna do it
