Whos running an oil catch can?

I am thinking about putting an oil catch can on my s52, I really don't like all the crud thats getting built up in my intake.

Just wondering if anyone is running them, I did a quick search and I could only find people who mentioned its possible or that they do, but beyond that not much more info.

Mainly I just had a few questions, first whats the difference between a recirculating catch can and a non-recirculating can? As far as pros and cons go anyways, I am assuming the non-recirculating won't but the vent back into the intake.

My idea was just to put a catch can on to collect the oil and vent the air back into the atmosphere rather than hooking it up into the intake. The reason I wanted to go that route was because I am going to get a new 90 degree elbow made and I am going to delete all the fittings I am not using, a vent for the PCV being one of them.

Does anyone see anything wrong with this? I can't imagine this being a problem I just wanted to get some opinions before I started buying stuff.

    Thanks

You won't pass emmisions test ?
It might be illegal to modify your PCV recirculating system ?

Other than that I don't know how your ignition/mixture settings would react to it.
