    Turbo M20

Just a quick question (sorry if this has been touched on), but I've noticed that some M20 turbo setups, with intercoolers, have the air-flow meter on the "traditional" N/A side near the throttle body (i.e; Digemon6's setup). Yet, I've also seen the air-flow meter on the opposite side near the turbo-scroll itself. Does one increase or decrease turbo lag, or is it's position not afftected by this? Is one better than the other, or is it just preference? Thanks to those who can help.

I just recently read about amember from here or perhaps other E30 forum that mentioned he changed his AFM from "before" the turbo to "after" the turbo, he noticed a gain or "kind of" in high RPMs, he felt the engine better, so looks like it's better...I always ran and run that way and didn't have problems until today...

lol what happened now diego ?

a lot of ppl have told me that i should put the afm before the turbo, cuz they tend to blow up with the increased pressures. (blow up i think they mean the black plastic cover on top.)

btw, im running 9psi and the damn car kicks like a rabid horse. FI ownz all
