    Lamin X questions

hey guys im about to buy lamin X film for my smoked headlights, my issue is that i dont know if i should get smoked film or clear, because i dont want to have a fake cheesey look smoked lights because i have the real deal. however if anyone has pics of smoked hellas with smoked covers, please post pics. Im leaning to the clear as of now, but need insperation and examples to make up my mind. thanks in advance.

Dont get smoked. just get clear to protect them. why diminish light output?

Clear for sure. The regular thickness stuff is fine for the headlights IMHO.

I like my smoke film, but the only reason I have it is because I can't afford smoked ellips, relocating oil cooler and relocate my IC right now....The light output isn't bad at all with my H4. I could imagine how bad it would be with sealed beams though.

Where do you all order laminex from? I have a couple sites from when I owned my VW, but all of it is pre-cut for those headlights.

                        I have a question,
I currently have Lamin-x Over my foglights, i want to take it off, but i was wondering would it be possible to apply the film again? or is it a "one time" use?

                        Thanks

I don't know if you bumped this as a joke or not, but I removed Lamin X from the headlights on my first e30, and they got torn up in the process..

Just because it happened to me doesn't mean it'll happen to everyone though. I bought the car with the laminex on, so who knows how long it was on? You might have better luck..
