Application of stickers?

Whats the best pre-application process for putting on stickers (r3v)

dry app on window: window cleaner (preferably stoner's) and lint-free cloth. make sure the surface is completely dry before application.

wet app on window: clean window. then use a 1:10 soap/water mixture and spray liberally on window. apply sticker, slide around until it is where you want it to be. get a credit card, squeegee out the excess water and let the sticker sit in the sun for at least five minutes. If you are doing this in an area with no sun, or at a time with no sun, whip out a heat gun or hair dryer and evaporate the rest of the water that way. After you are confident the water has evaporated, peel off the paper backing.

dry app on paint: apply after a fresh car wash or clean area with quick detailer. dry with lint free cloth

wet app on paint: like window wet app but do it after a car wash or clean with quick detailer as opposed to windex.
