    Used m42 value

Out of curiousity... how much do used m42's go for? Like... one with a bad head gasket, needs rebuilt, that kind of stuff. 2nd question, how much do GOOD used m42's go for? Ones with under 100k, good compression, etc.

I paid $100 for a core. $500-750 seems fair for a runner with good compression #'s.

I have one I'd love to sell. It was running, but in need of a rebuild when pulled complete long block with whatever accessories are still on it for $150. Just over 200k. Ran well, but the valvetrain was very loud. Decent power still. In Kansas City.
