Hey guys,
I'm looking to get a CD changer for my 1991 318IS, however, I'd like to keep the stock deck because I want to keep my car relatively BMW for the most part. If I get a stock BMW CD changer from an E36, is it possible for it to connect properly with my stock 1991 deck? If anyone knows if it's possible, or the difficulty of the installation is, please let me know.
- Chad
EDIT: I just called someone that deals with BMW CD changers and he asked me if when I take out the stock deck, is it an 8 pin socket or a 13 pin socket for the CD socket. Can anyone tell me how many pins there are so I don't have to rip out my deck? Thanks.
