    "full size" spare diameter

    Hey everyone,

My car is at the painter, so I can't do any measurements myself. I'm just wondering if a 16" wheel on a 205-50-16 size tire will fit in my spare compartment (total diameter is approx. 24 1/8"). One of my silver Konig Remembers finish has a slight gold tinge to it, so it looks a little off relative to the center cap and the other wheels. If it will fit in my spare compartment, I'll just purchase one more from jlbmotorsport @ cost. If it won't fit, I'll just keep the stock 14" weave in there and ship the defective wheel back for a replacement. Oh by the way...I've got 4 (potentially 5) stock weaves for sale w/ good rubber on them. Will post pics when I get the car back this weekend.

    I may be wrong but I THINK a 195/65/14 is 23.98...that could be 195/60/14

Do you have any extra room in the spare tire well, because I calculated your diameter, and it's 23.77" whereas mine is 24.07"

it's true...I'm a bit uneasy for something of such minor importance...but as you know, sometimes a quarter of an inch can make the world of a difference. Thanks for the input though. I'll go ahead and purchase the extra wheel.
