job description too good to be true?

    -minimum $1000/wk
    -no sales experience prefered
    -100% commission

Should I even bother with this? I emailed a resume and the guy said to give him a call.

That seriously sounds too good to be true.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

I was on commission for almost a year, and for the most part, I did not like it. You have to sell to make any sort of money. Granted, when I sold Projection TVs I didn't complain, but when I sold nothing, my paycheck was next to nothing. Pressure, stealing sales, cutthroat co-workers, etc... I'm in sales right now (Circuit City :P ), at an hourly wage and I don't think sales is the right thing for me. I don't enjoy the constant pressure and number obsessed managers. When you're on straight commission, don't make the mistake of thinking you will make a fourtune. Other commision making people, share your thoughts....

Door to door sales in an MLM scheme.

I also guarentee you that they'll be asking for an "investment", aka money up front.
