I'm out, I get about 19 mpg until I get a diff swap done. M50 and ZF transmission like fuel when combined with 3.73lsd.

I'm at 285.1 after driving to and from and auto-x yesterday, I think i'll def make this a 300+ mile tank because all of it so far has been highway except the 3 runs.

I'm at 270 miles this week from very conservative city driving. The mile-o-meter was at the 40 mark 90% of the time. The tank has about a gallon or two left based on the gauge . What is our tank capacity?

What about the other tank(s)? I know there were at least 2 or 3 different size tanks.

Your 92 cabrio has the large tank though (16.5 gallons I believe).

My gas gauge finally hit the 1/4 tank mark and I've got about 325 or so. And I have the small 12.5 gallon tank. If I were to fill up now I'd probably put 9 gallons or so in. (325/9 = 36.1).

I was talking about M42s tho. Earlier e30s have smaller gas tanks indeed. :)

I can't take it easy in my M3 when I drive it because it only gets driven on weekends, so I have to have fun in it... my E28 gets bad mileage with all that weight and a big 6 cyl... m new motor should be more efficent though 8)

I'll win. I was getting around 28mpg+. 2.93, M50, and reduced weight is a fuel efficient combo.
