    Italy Photos (cars and other)

If anyone is interested here's the link to ~300ish photos from my recent trip to Italy. There are roughly 300 pictures posted up ordering from last to first. The first picture is the mail Megan and I came home to...

Out of the 300ish pictures I took close to 200 of them are of cars in Italy. Fiats, Alphas, Mercedes, Porsches, Mopeds & Motorcycles, Citrons, etc... You name it its there. If you want any of the photos email me at thomasjwinston at yahoo dot com or PM me and I'll be happy to send you a good copy via email.

Mods - sorry if this is in the wrong forum... Happy looking!

We were in Florence, Rome, Sienna, Toured the Tuscany Region and more. It was really an amazing trip to have 13 of us over there. I went with my girlfriend and her family and some family friends. We had four cars and rented a villa for the week. The photos of the sunset and the porches are of us watching the sunset over Florence every night. It was truly amazing and really fun to drive over there. Hot girls on mopeds driving like crazy just makes you thankful that you went to a place like that with your girlfriend and her family!!

Yeah that's $13,580 USD.... for an '02 Peugeot... but it is turbo'd and I have no idea what 80kw is in HP but those cars are little screamers!

I was getting beeped at and passed by little old italian women on blind corners in the twisties of Chianti... and Megan was holding on to the oh sh*t handles with a death grip... they are CRAZY over there!!!

EDIT: HAHA.... they looked at me like I was from another planet when I knelt down on the side of the road to take some of the shots of the Alpha Romeo's rims.... They pointed and laughed at times... Sortof like when the Asians take photos of squirels in the park in downtown Boston and we laugh "who the eff would ever take a picture of a squirel???!!!" yeah that was me over there!!!

You wouldn't mind if I used some of these for the website I work for? Some of these are great, and I need to write and article on the Fiat cinquecento soon! Let me know if thats okay.

Good to see some of the old sites. Spent a year over there in Rome a few years back.

What did the villa run you guys? I'm looking at going back for another visit with a group.

It's fun to see all the crazy little vehicles the Italians have come up with. Spend a little time in Rome and you'll know why.

Awesome photos, I was just in Chianti country last summer. Beautiful area. We stayed in a villa a little outside the town of Greve. Everything smells like flowers, grapes, and olives.

EDIT: here's a few pictures of the area

Umm... There were 13 of us and the villa had room for 16 or 18 (double occupancy rooms). Off season/Pre season was $5,000 (USD) for a week. We were there last week - the last week of the pre season prices. When we left on Saturday the next group coming in paid $10,000 USD for the week. $5,000 between 13 is CHEAP for lodging in Florence. PM me if you want more details on the Villa. The pictures do the place no justice. it was breathtaking, mindblowing and more... everything was like we were movie stars living an alternate reality. Cars were ~300-400 EUR a week.... I have the info on this Villa if you are interested.

I want one of those little Fiat's now that I've seen so many of them. I've totally fallen in love with them & I think my 2002 needs company!!!
