Best place to buy a power window reg?

It's been awhile since I've bought something new for this thing, and since my passneger window hasn't gone down for years(and its f*&%$#king hot out) I thought hey, why not rectify that.

Bavauto has them for like 80 bucks, but I know there has to be somewhere with them cheaper. I'd like to do both at once while I'm at it.

    Thanks in advance people.

try patrick at bmaparts.com, or the euro depot can sometimes get a good deal on new parts... sorta depends on where you are re: shipping

I got a regulator. PM me your location and I'll tell you how much I want (around $40 shipped east coast, $50 for west coast)

        try www.car-part.com

It looks like "all the other car part sites", but actually gives you phone numbers of local places you can call and some of the prices are dirt cheap... just put your model/year/part and all this shit comes up. you can sort by distance, price, quality.

Get one out of the junkyard. Its very likely that the grease monkey behind the counter will have no idea what it is or what its for and let you have it for $5. If they ask what it is, just tell them that you bought a door 2 weeks ago and you didn't take all of the necessary parts that go with it. They will either let you have it or charge you a small price for not having your reciept with you.

Hahaha Car-Part.com. Guess where I am right now, designing tradeshow banners. ;)

I'm definitely looking for new... I don't know if these are anything like the power regs on Mk3 VWs, but I hear they're plenty fragile on our cars so new is the best way to go.

PeaveyBassist, you'll have PM here in a sec.

Junkyard or forum member. Test it on a battery before you go.
