    Governor? I didn't think e30s had them.

That being said, if you're doing 130mph on I-5 between Corvallis and Portland you don't need more mods, you need more common-sense.

I got my car up to 138 mph on a straight stretch of road coming down from Mt. Bachelor. A one-time speed test at 2 am with not a car in sight.

If you're going to drive like a maniac, do it somewhere there are less people to kill.

Just take out your ecu, and take out the black box shaped chip on the the lower right hand corner. I did it, and I swear I hit 172 mph.

Shoot yourself in the face first, I find that has the best results.

Second, there is no governor on an e30. Most m20 cars are limited to about 125 mph (132-136 indicated) by gearing and aero, they don't need a chip to slow them down.

Third, if you want to play highway star, go buy an f-body, they're probably more your pace.

My five was just getting warmed up at 135 and probably could have seen 168-172 if I had the balls.

Yea man, since i put the electric supercharger on and dropped the gearing to 2.93, im pushing 185.

I know the speedo doesnt go that high but i have my GPS hooked up and it said i was going at least that fast.

135 man? come on, step up with the big boys.
