I have been to way to many places so I have trouble being impartial. Yes Denali is awesome and so is the rest of Alaska. Been there, got the sticker and T-shirt and dropped off the case of German beer for my buddy that works in Anchorage. Goto Ko-chu-charlies when in Anchorage and you will have a great time during summer solistaice.Comment

Greg think of things that show how much effort you put into it. Something that takes a lot of planning or pulling strings is pure gold.
Can you see the stars in the city? Maybe a night picnic and a nearby bed and breakfast would be a start. Its not as much where you go but what you do when you get there.Im now E30less.

Im just thinking of effort. Sometimes something that takes planning and is original is best. Scout out a perfect spot, even if you have to get permission to use private property. I managed to talk a guy into goign onto his property for this reason.
Maybe get a friend to go you a half an hour beforehand and setup and light some candels or tiki torches so its blinging when you get there.Im now E30less.
