Those back seats fit into a 2002 also. Very cool for an older land shark. Need to paint or do some decals for the front fenders of a buch of sharks teeth like the Flying Tigers from WWII had on their P40's.

How about this as a dream car?

Someone is selling it locally for the mere asking price of 25k, it also only has 61k original miles. Love the 6ers though, and I love red leather even more. Congrats!

Haha thanks, I'm very lucky everything worked out!!

First thing I want to do is remove the tint... Ugh...

It will be getting Style 5s, staggered I hope... OR Rondell 58s staggered. I have wanted those Rondells since I got my first 6er.

Obviously it will be lowered, Bilstein Sports and either Suspension techniques or H&R springs. Mason engineering front and rear strut braces (6ers are kinda soft), and some little things here and there. I have an OLD school M-Tech rear spoiler for it, the all rubber one, but I'm not sure if I'll put that on or find a later style one.

The interior is getting custom made shift and e-brake boots from a guy on mye28.com, I'm going to have the Recaros recovered in matching leather.

Ooh, my E32 740/750 brakes I have been working on will be gracing this car instead of my 533i. As far as the motor, I have a head that I am planning on having larger valves installed in, as well as a 284 cam, and maybe see what my guy can do as far as port work. IE headers will definitely find their way into this car as well, unless I go with Paul LaDue's Hartge replica headers. I'm also planning on Megasquirt, but that will be down the road after I get one built and tuned successfully in my 5.

Overall I'm shooting for a very clean weekend driver with some tasteful, yet period correct-ish mods. And even though this is an E30 forum, I'll keep my progress posted here anyway... I love you guys.

Haha, yeah, I've seen the car on there since he originally posted it in 11 of 2005!! Finally had to do something about that when I discovered terminal rust on my '81.

Ken, I went to check out a potential '83 633 parts car today with a rebuilt 3.2 that has the 272 cam and lightweight flywheel, and I got visions of another E30 M30 swap... I think another one may be in the future for me

No...he was correct in selling it to me. It's in the middle of a diff transplant and rear suspension upgrade right now.
