    wow hard to belive such a clean car comming out of belgium, usually their cars are covered in all sorts of ugly kits and nasty wheels

      Yes it's from belgium 8)

      I've met the guy from this car at Tuned Belgium
      The car is signed as Oldtimer and don't need a yearly government control
      he has also an MkII with HID and ellips self made pretty well done

                    No one said it's not possible, but there are so many other alternatives. 1.8T just make sense as power is there in gobbs and retains roughly the same weight as the old 1.6l GTi's had only with an extra 100 hp.

                      exactly, 1.8T makes the weight distribution much more balanced. The vr6 is very heavy....and it messes up the little bunny's handling.

                        I had toyed with doing one for my 84 Rocco, and I toyed with the idea of a TDi powered Rocco. 190lbs of tq would of been fun with light weight and 48 mpg.

                        But alas I sold it.

                          overall the car is nice, but god damn whats wrong with him, was he too cheap to buy bigger tires for those wheels, had to make them look nasty like this. He needs some 265's in the back so he can improve his handling and give the car a more aggresive look
