    What's it worth?

It looks like I have a chance to by the '91 318is from the lady who bought my E34. It's got about 112k. She appears to be religous about maintenance and the interior is in great shape. She was sideswiped last year and it needs a new LF fender. Just scuffing on the door that can be buffed out. I haven't driven it yet - it's at her shop getting ball joints. It's got the stock 14" weaves with new tires and the steelies with snows.

What would you offer - to be taken seriously?
    Cheers,

    David

offer something under 2000 pay 2500 at the most. 2500 is to high imo. If the car didnt have that scrape it would be worth around 3000.

Yeah, pretty much right on target. You're in WI; since the car was driven in winter there's a good chance the underside is unpristine. 2K MAX. Then you will get the car back to your place, and punch a hole through at least 3 of the rust-perforated drainplugs on the front and rear floor pans. You will then be sorely tempted to sideswipe the passenger side into an 18 wheeler to get insurance money.
