    Help: No Tach & MPG Meter

    Help (E30 noobie here). Just got 02/87 325is. No tach and MPG meter, what should I look for? TIA

    fuse in the engine bay. i think it is #12 7amp.

      Check fuses and see if any are blown

        I just ran out to the car, all the fuses are fine :(

          What did you use check if they were fine? Did you just look at them or did you actually test them?

            I just look at them. I guess I have to test continuity?

              Thats one mistake I made and Luke (stereoinstaller) told me different. You can't just look at fuses and say they are good. Some hide there goodness, which happened to me (I had no tach and no fuel)

                  Nice car!
                  I'd take off the ///M and put on some Bilstein's and IE3's but that's just me. ;)

                      In the glove box/under a black plastic cover there is a little 3 wire plug plug that controls tach, check engine and MPG meter, make sure thats plugged in.

                        Holly smoke, your guys are ROCK!!!!
                        Fuse #19, 7.5A blew.
                        One more help please: vibration from 50MPH and up, the steering wheel shaking. Not sure it is the bushings or the tie rods.
