    E21 opinions?

just looking for some general opinions on the 320i..

I have had an e30 before, and amd wanting another one.

but I just came across an 83' 320i with 45k original miles.. for $3000...

are there any underlying problems with e21's?

if anyone has ever had experience with these cars,, please post

    -thanks

I like the styling of E21's a lot (if you add Euro items).

and as far as "underlying problems", I can almost guarantee that it is a bit rusty.

But I'd still like to have one. With an M20.

Perhaps one of the ugliest cars ever produced. That being said, the M10 is pretty bullet-proof.

I have seen maybe 4 in the last 1 year and all of them are really rusty. Check for rust big time

I went and looked at one a couple of weeks ago but turned out to be a rust bucket. bf.c has a nice little e21 section that has a sticky FAQ at the top of the page. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...play.php?f=143
And heres my thread that i asked about e21's http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...&highlight=e21
