QUICK: How do i take out the rear shelf(speaker shelf)?

    QUICK: How do i take out the rear shelf(speaker shelf)?

    Title says it all. Ive never done or tried it so who ever has please tell me. THanks

    take out the back seat, unbolt the seatbelts, unplug the speaks and it unclips right out.

      Yep, just pull straight forward on it and it slides out.

          you gotta unplug the center brake light too. What are you pulling it out for?

            its also possible to pull it out without unbolting the seatbelts. just a little tricky though.

              I was pulling it out to dye it black. I used to have a tan interior and i converted all the panels and seats to black. I had a grey rear shelf but it was pretty beat up so i just pulled my old one and cleaned it up and dyed it black. Looks great, feels a little crunchy though. Im very satisfied.

                It will get soft with time, when I died mine it was like that for a day or so then got soft.

                  What did you use for dye? Mine is blue but it should be black.
