    Need Assistance installing lowering springs.

I am about to attempt to install lowering springs on my 87' 325, are there any tricks or helpful tips anyone can provide? Thanks. Frank.

Just take your time and use the proper tools. Get a good spring compresser for the fronts and use air tools if you have them.

    Welcome.

If you don't have one already, get a Bently manualm and use it. Make sure, when you put the new locknut on the top of the front struts, to have the spring compressed, otherwise, it'll just spin.

Have fun! it's not too bad, really.

There's some good DIYs on this site or linked to on this site...search and you will find.

For the rears, some say you need to remove the muffler, I didn't...but maybe it depends on the car.

Make sure you get the strut collars on tight in front.
