My dad got his old car back...after 20 some years

My dad originally bought the car, a 1968 1600 ti Alpina Hillclimb racecar, back in the 70's. He drove the shit out of the car for 5 years or so..and sold it. It made its way to north carolina and back around to va and then ended up back here. Through some family issues and stuff we ended up with the car back, only thing is there isn't much original left :( The wheels ahve been switched out to Kosei K1's, instead of the orignal 13 inch Alpina wheels. Also..the motor to a 2 liter 2002 engine :( Now has Recaro race seats instead of the original recaros. I will get pics of the car later on this week.

Heh, that made me think what if my kids(if I ever have any) might find my M3 if I sold it one day. That would be pretty cool. :D

my dad had a 911S Factory Lightweight. he imported from germany himself, drove it for 2 years, then sold it only to have the buyer wrap it around a tree and take his life just 2 months later.
My dad always dreams of having that car again...

Yeah, my dad had several British cars including Triumphs and MGBs. I wish they were still around. BTW I saw a sweet old Mini in the parking garage 10 mins ago. I love those cars no mattter how many ponies they lack.

My dad had a Dodge Charger. Ate gas like it was nothing and it was quite fast.

I actually have a picture of it laying around somewhere.

                    It was a blue/midnight blue 1970 or 1971 SE

My dad recently found an Isetta that he had while ago... about 30+ years I don't quite know... I wasn't there, the man wasn't selling it, but it surely was a relieve to my dad see a car that he had in his youth days

Speaking of selling cars, I sold the first love of my life, a bahama beige(brown) 84 318i, about 14 months ago. Anyways, the kid who bought it from me just called the other day and wanted to know if I knew of any other e30s for sale because he totalled the 318. I'm kinda sad
