Yeah.. like cashiers in the fast food joint that give you a dirty look and hold out their hand when its time to pay rather than telling you what the total is.. or.. cashiers who cannot properly count back change.

Or the fact that it's now considered standard to have to wait in a nice big line for the privilege of buying products from any grocery store in my area, since they won't pay enough checkers to be there. etc...

I haven't had my run-in with the shipping companies yet, but I have had my share of poorly packaged stuff come to my door. Recently I ordered the Vogtland Sport suspension package with the Konis. It was shipped directly from Vogtland in Temecula, not too far from me. When it arrived, the springs were just bouncing around loose in the box with no internal 'retaining' packaging and the rear shocks had come out of their box and were obviously banging up against the springs. There was also no, I mean zero, packing filler like peanuts or whatever, and the box was almost crushed.

What a bunch of lazy assholes.

well they pay kids 8 bucks and hour to pick up heavy ass boxes and load them onto conveyor belts for hours at a time, i guess you stop caring too when you realize your getting paid like a quarter for every box you pick up.

But doesn't UPS make you package stuff into plywood boxes to comply with the insurance?

I shipped 5 33x12.50 on 15x8 rims, for $58. I just put them on a pallet and took them to the UPS depot that close to where I work.
