    e36 rear seat

I just bought some e36 m3 non-vader seats and now my black vinyl rear seat does not match the leather front seats. I'd like to get the vader rear seat and put it in because the motorsport stripes will match and the e30 leather seats aren't too exciting.

I know from searching that kencopperwheat used to have the rear seat from an e36, but all of the pictures are gone. So does anyone have pictures of an e36 rear seat installed in an e30? And I know the back goes too high, i just want to see what it looks like.

    Thanks in advance.

You'll have to screw through the trunk into the back of the seat to get it to stay up... the contour doesn't match at all. It sits up about 2-3" above the rear deck.

So is it ugly to the point where it doesn't look good? Out of place? You have zero pictures left of it when it was in your car? Why did you take it out? Do you know of anyone else that had done it other than you?

Oh, and is the Rogue in your avatar the same as the brewer of Dead Guy Ale? That's good stuff.

You MUST build a custom rear deck for it to look decent. I don't think I have any pictures of it any more. They were hosted on my University of Oregon account, which was deleted after I graduated. I took it out because I got a whole new interior.

And yes, yes that is the logo for the Rogue brewery :)
