    Front springs orientation?

Today I'm installing all of my front suspension upgrades. Before I put the springs on, I'd like to know which way they go. They're Vogtland sport springs and the coils appear to be denser (closer together) on one end. Is this the bottom? The writing on the springs would be readable in this orientation, not upside down. Thanks.

I would imagine the area where the coils are closer together would be on top. Would you describe the spring as a slight pyramid? If so it wouldnt make sense to have the wider part up top. I could be wrong though, Im just stating my opinion.

Front springs should be all straight. I haven't heard of springs that aren't symmetrical for these cars. put them in so the writing is not upside down.

You're right, I do have progressive springs. I put them in with the denser coils up top. This seemed to fit the spring pads more naturally, and really, it seems to look right. Well see how it rides once the tranny's in, lol.

Here's the setup for those who may not have seen it.
