It's still at the current owners house, like an hour away. I have my last final on Monday, I'll be picking it up shortly after that

I got someone to lend me a tow dolly (uhaul isn't renting trailers for local use for some reason). so after my exam monday, I will go get it. When I bring it back, I'll take pics

Well this project has been sitting by the wayside as I've got a few other things going on. My civic and 87 325 still aren't done, but I lost my storage spot so I had to bring it up. Here are a few pics from the first day I bought it. Hopefully I can finally get my civic together, and start working on this.

wow, that thing looks pretty rough man. I like project cars, but that looks like its been hacked at a bit too much. I heard those cars rust out like no tomorrow since the metal used back in the day was not very pure.
I had a friend who owned a 1978 280z since it was new. It had 38k miles and was in perfect condition. Never driven in the rain, always garaged and covered, it was in awesome origonal condition.
            Good luck with the car!!

              huh?

the car is pretty much ready for paint, just have some sanding to do, and touch up an area on each door. besides that it's great, the guy did a great job on the car. Obviously it's not painted, it's just being prepped. He cut out what very little rust there was, and welded in new metal. He'd been keeping the car garaged and only driven on nice days since he got it, and when he retired he took it off the road to restore it. Did a good job too.

If I washed it up it would look a lot nicer, you just have to be able to look past that right now.
