    Got a free parts car!

Got a free parts car from a friend of mine this weekend. Even though it's just a rusty old '84 318i, I just couldn't let it go to a junkyard without a thorough raping.

No engine, no tranny, barren engine bay. Interior and trunk were filled with parts. Mostly from a 325e it looks like, oddly enough.

Instead of taking pictures of all this stuff individually, I figured I'd just take a picture of everything together to set. You see a a pixel or two you want just send me a PM. Haha. I'll have a FS thread later.

Also I'm trying to figure out what the wheels are on the car. They're 17x7.5's, et18, 4x100, 10 spoke mysteries.

They are marked "Q17705 e18" "7.5Jx17 H2" and with this:

Haven't found any other markings yet. I suppose I'll make a thread in the wheel/tire subform or something and see if they know.

Nice catch, good luck getting rid of all that crap now :)

Those look sorta like my wheels...except mine are 16's and the spokes are slightly different. I tried posting in wheels/tires section and no one was able to figure it out for sure. I have pretty much given up on that...mystery wheels indeed.

That is the Japan Light Alloy Wheel logo. Just means that the wheel is certified for sale in Japan. ;)

^^ Thanks. I knew it looked familiar.

I really just care about how light they are. Have to find out how much the "Marshal Power-racer 2" tire weighs and then try to figure out if the wheel would be any good for autocross.
