    wtf is this noise?!?

Ok, my front sturts were blown and it was making this creaking noise. Figured it was a good time to replace the struts and mounts.

You may recall my little strut rant about how shit wasn't working. But I now have EVERYTHING together exactly right. I double and triple checked everything. New struts, mounts, and bumpstops. All the washers are in place, there is no play in the shaft, and the bearings are greased. I also replaced the sway bar links FWIW.

But my driver side STILL makes this damn noise. I can't figure out what could be causing it. Anything that wasn't replaced looked just fine. Spring pads were ok, not torn or anything.

Heres a video, if anyone can tell me wtf this noise is that would be amazing.

I just uploaded the video so if it doesn't work check back in a few min.

Your spring is misaligned or your rubber is misaligned, the spring is not seating properly, maube if you turn the spring some degrees in either direction you will get it to sit uniformly on the rubber.

If you spray wd40 on the top of the spring it'll stop making the noise, but once it dries out it will start again.

              Good luck.

I find that really hard to believe but I will check. I know I aligned everything perfectly, I checked it soo many times, but I will check again ;)

I just checked, its in there perfectly. It has to be something I either overlooked or is bad. Considering how it did it before the new suspension and after. That would be pretty good luck to have something screw up twice, its probably the same problem I just don't know what.

How long has it been since you replaced your front wheel bearing? My driver's side used to squeek really bad... then I replaced the wheel bearing/hub and it went away.

That is kinda what my rear swaybar bushings sound like....but it does not matter which side I push down.

Tree house ones that I put on maybe a year ago when I did my swap.

I never lubed the sway bar bushings, never though about it. What do you use just lithium grease for ball bearings?
