who was that guy, had a e30 with a m30 that sold on ebay?

Who was he, anyone have his address, I can find the auction ....

I know he used a 6 series drive shaft, but I wanted to ask him if it just bolted in. Anyone remember that auction - I think one or tow of you know him.

Did you post on that thread? IF so can you find it for me?

George just surf over to www.e30.de and all of the instructions for this conversion are on the site.

As a matter of fact three weeks ago when I was in Germany my local yard had one that was being parted. It had the 5 bolt suspension set up too. No time to disassemble though.

Yea I know about e30.de. I wanted to ask him a question about the 6 serieve driveshaft he was using, if he used the 6 series shaft rather than the e30m3 shaft cause the 6 series shaft didn't need shortening or something - I don't know.....(now I'm tired)

Ryan stewert new the seller. JPBMW and myself tried to contact him but never got a repsonse. then I found another person on roadfly who used the 6 series driveshaft and he said it had to be shortened some but not as much as 535i one would of needed.

already done here, these are measurments I got from board members of 6er and 5er boards.
                535i with Guibo 1500mm ruffly
633 with Guibo 1082 mm ruffly
the 633 is shorter but the question is it short enough. I haven't ever seen a dedicated length that a m30 swap driveshaft needs to be as it varies with mounts you use.

Where are you getting your engine mount arms? I've been looking for someone who is going to be getting some made to have 2 pairs(or maybe more made). Or for some one with the e30.de mounts to have copied.

Yea, e30.de is the place to get them - and yes, I am one step ahead of you, I should have them copied, and make them avaiabel for a reasonable price. I preaty sure I'll be doing a e30m30 web site (maby a fourm) - stay tuned.
