    I'm a dumbass.

Upon reinstalling a new rear wheel bearing, I forgot to lube it a little and now it's stuck most of the way in. It won't budge in either direction, even with heating up around it and banging the shit out of it with the slide hammer. I'm pissed!

Anyone got a Sir Tools B90 I can borrow or any other ideas? I'm a dumbass.

go to a shop and borrow a berring press kit. then spray some thrust in the "knuckle" (i know its a trailing arm) and it will slide right in :-)

5 pound sledge and a piece of 2x4 oughta do it :-)

Don't take my advice, just saying what my improvisational wrenching style yields. Usually to the end of buying new parts I destroyed fitting in other parts.

What about one of those harmonic balencer/puller thingies that has the little hooks on the edge of the tool so that you can reverse-press the bearing out? Would that do the job?

Thrust... is that like the blaster penetrant? Also, how would I go about borrowing the bearing press from a shop? Never tried that b4. I have a 3 pc bearing puller/press kit and this job actually snapped the swivel thing off the end.

              I hate this.

Try brake fluid, that thing gets into anywhere, I've used it some times to wrench rusted bolts out, maybe it can seep in there and help you slide it in or out.

hopefully heating the outer housing (hole you are pushing it into) and not the bearing, right? Just making sure.

                            Hand winch.

I dunno, tack weld a hook onto the bearing, strap it to a big pole and crank it out?
