I think that's an error, the 333i is powered with the M30 3.2 litre
I saw somewhere pics of the engine bay from a South African junkyard with E30's
If I find the link I will post em

Yea, it's not right *afaik* - the South Africa was a m30 stuffed into a e30. For all those rich white guys pimpin' it in Africa.

I've yet to see an engine bay shot. Wasn't there a mobile triditions book that might have it? Any e30 books that might have a pic?

Ok let me have my say, as I'm from the good old SA :) . The 333i was like the baby version of the Alpina, not sure if it's the B6 or B3 , but the Alpina with the M30 3.5 lt motor, it'a almost identical to it exept for the motor, and the body kit. It came out with Alpina's with the BMW roundel on them. I know a few guys with them. to tell you the honest truth they were quick in their day, but now they ain't that fast. I know a guy that had one that was turboed that ran between 280. and 290km/h on the 1km sprint, but he added gas and crashed it. He's currently looking for a 325is Aluminium chassis (don't argue our ones came with them) . I posted about the 325is Evo 2 SA edition, in the members rides section. I also posted some pics of this 333i , I will find some pics of my friends 333i that is stock like it came out from the factory :)
