#9 in the photo. Need to determine whether or not I need it for my 02 project.

isnt that a fuel pressure regulator of some sort. im pretty sure you need it or it wouldnt be on there. just my .02.

There is one on the return line and the feed line. I wouldn't think it would be a pressure regulator. Not sure what it is though.

RealOEM says it's a "Connection Piece". Looks like all it does is connect those two hoses.

I say get rid of them and if the car doesn't run, put them back in.

Just a guess, but it could be a one way check valve.

Its a fuel accumulator . Toss it .

that is a fuel vibration/ pulsation damper, it smooths out the flow/ pressure coming from the pump's pulses..

not necessary, but good to have, yet... 40-50 dollars to replace.

whos going to figure out the easy/ cheap replacement?
