Alright time has come when i actually do have the money for a digital camera and would like to nab one but im a total newbie at this digital camera world and i do know a few of you know your stuff.

I have narrowed it down to this camera but like i said i am a newbie in this kind of
camera world.

Is this camera worth my $300...i am sure if i look harder i can find one for cheaper online or at a store.

Oh and i noticed Circut City has pretty good prices like i can nab that Canon For 200 instead of over 300 at Target

The Olympus C740 and C750 have 10x optical, and then 3x digital, making a total of 30X (though I never use past the 10x because as rob said, digizoom blows ass)

It also is threaded for filters or pseudo-lenses for telephoto and wide-angle (200mm and 21mm film equivalents, respectively)

werd x2. I have my digital zoom disabled. Youd just be as good cropping and resizing with a pixelation program.

Photoshop is the best photoediting program that I've ever encountered.

I would like thank everyone for helping me out and i would like to give a big shout out to Ken for taking his time to help me find the right camera and narrow it down to this one and then he aslo helped me find the auction for it.
