    Mass Insurance

I've kept my car registered & insured in RI for the last three years but my parents are moving and my license expires, insurance expires, etc...

When I become a Masshole who should I go to for insurance? Progressive isn't offered because we're a screwed up no-fault state...

it's an 89 and it's an auto vin so I can register/insure it as an auto...

Driving record was pretty bad but i've had nothing in the last 5 years - no accidents, tickets, nothing. I'm almost 28 & single so I think I'm still in that range of expensive stuff... Anyone have any good suggestions? I keep it parked in a parking garage and only use it for pleasure (i don't drive it to work). I'll also have to register & insure a 71 02 as well...

    Thanks for any referrals!

AAA. You get a pretty damn good rates as a member, which is required. And here in CA, the membership is great. No more waiting at DMV, just go to AAA and I'm in and out in 10 min or less. :) Also as an E30 owner, it's nice to know that I can get a free tow within 10 miles whenever I need it.

Just an option. Esurance is cheap too, but who knows if they'll take any claims seriously.

"If I were filthy rich I'd still drive my E30."

you usually have to go with a private company because allstate, geico, progressive and state farm are not offered in MA

I just wanna know who is good and who isn't going to kill me for my age & car. I seriously never drive and it'll suck to go from $645/year up to over $1,000 just to park the thing.

I've heard it said that its regulated and all prices are the same but in my experience that isn't true, but I've never had wildly different quotes from different providers. Anyhow I use Arbella...it's expensive but that's what I get for driving like me. I've had 2 at fault accidents and they treated me fine both times, no suprises.

                        ...sucks.
I got my license 6 months ago and my insurance is around 1600$ a year. MASS regulated insurance rates so it doesn't matter who you go through, it the same rate.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

USAA or Liberty Mutual and AAA have good rates hard to beat in Mass. My sister lives in the state and uses USAA as she is a ANG member.
