    What is this?!

    Looking to do some cutting to route my intake a different way and found this in my way and have no ideaa what it's for.

            That is your stock BMW car alarm horn. There is only one on the car....and it goes off when you fail to match the pre entered code on the OBC.

            It sounds like someone in a honda with road rage.
            '89 "is" = M technic II build mode.

                    lol...it's definately not one of the horns that's activated through the steering wheel.

                    That horn is mounted to the right of this one (when looking at front of car).

                    I'll go try to purposly type in the wrong code and see if it goes off.

                      You have to enter the wrong code, and try to start the car.


                      As follows:

                      1)Enter code (remember the code)
                      2)turn ignition off.
                      3)Turn ignition on, enter wrong code
                      4)Try to start car
                      5)BEEP BEEP BEEP

                      You will have to put the correct code from step 1 in to make it stop.

                          lol i dont think my car has one of those the car just wont start without the code...tried it the other day
