turbo/engine/ is it possible!?!

ok so my very good friend has a 300zx TT..no im not thinkin about a swap. thought about it already.

anyway, he was telling me his next mod. (car is agressvely modded) ... lets just say he tears through 10.5 inches wide at the rear in about 3 months. he was telling me about water injection. his turbos are about to get rebuilt. and alotta other shyt. he is doing this to keep the car running cooler especially when he runs it long periods of time. a few hundred degrees coolor. ..

is water injection possible on e30 turbos?. .. ..im not even too sure how all this water injections works but ill find out more about it later. im at work. just had to ask you guys.

water alky injection is prob what he is thinking about. what works best, believe it or not is the pre mixed windshield washer fluid you buy in gallon form. no certain brand or anything like that. it contains the perfect mix of alky to distilled water and has a a cleaning agent too. it will actually turn the inside of your exhaust tubing (just outside the turbo ) a blueish color. what it does is the water and the cleaning agent cool you cyl and head in the combustion chamber, as well as the inlet side of the turbo, when it hits the turbo (you put it in to the inlet side just before the impeller) it turns into steam then travels in vapor form to the combustion chamber, there it cleans and cools the chamber and as an added benefit the alky also cools the chamber and raises the octaine slightly too.
you can buy systems like the aqua mist, or if you pick up a book by CB Performance (VW aircooled stuff) they have plans for building a mechanical inj system that i have used that works really well and doesn't rely on pressure switches to work. simple and effective!!!

no prob, i have also heard of people using it on n/a motors, but never inperson though same idea though, just different app though.
