swaybars - hollow? front/rear size? Vendor?

I have unknown solid sways on my car and it's time to upgrade to something I know and I want. What is a good combo for a moderately modded street car. Urethane bushings, unknown lowering springs (green), strut bars F&R, Urethane MM's, Sport shocks, etc...

Should I go with hollow bars? Do I need that IE reinforcement in the rear? What about size? What size do I want up front and in the back?

their stuff is very nice quality (e.g. the rear aluminum trunk floor mounted supports for the rear bar)... just allow time for "shipping." They can take a bit longer than some of the mega-vendors.

winston, have you measured what you have?? id be looking at stiffer springs first. arent green springs suspension techniques>?? ive never been in a car with them i was impressed with. but maybe like kate and e30pride i like it rough. if they are ST springs you should ditch them and get something stiffer. if you do that and still have too much roll id look at big sways but springs do more for body roll than any sways

i have the ST bars, 22mm front, 19mm rear. I like them a lot -they tightened everything up and neutralized the handling, but they don't overstiffen the car.

That being said, i used the weld-on reinforcement tabs for the rear trailing arms (which work great) but I ended up recently ripping out the body mount location. I'm getting it welded next week and have ordered the IE bushing reinforcement blocks to prevent further problems.

BLUNT yeah they are green - No idea what they are because there are no stickers or markings but they are green & there are Bilstein Sports with them. I just measured and there are stock looking but (hand/brush) painted (red) 19.93mm fronts (they sound hollow but look stock) and no idea what the rears are because the car is so low I can barely see the link nevermind the bar while the car is on the ground.

My thought was that the sways would take care of some body roll & by putting a higher spring rate it would only make the ride harsher. I want to get rid of some of the roll but I still want to be able to drive down shitty Boston streets and not loose my fillings. What's the best of both worlds? Am I already there? What springs would you reccomend? IE, Eibach, Other ST???

Here's what I have now... No idea what it is but I need to get my suspension sorted so I can make some decisions. Here's what I have now: (I know these are STRUT bars but it's so you get the picture of the overall setup)



Don't really have any other suspension pictures. Swaybar links look like they are SHOT bigtime... Not sure if I want to go up to the strut tube or replace with stock or solid bushings...
