    Neuspeed??

    Hi guys

jon here from the uk. Ive got an californian import 1983 325e(probably the only u.s import 325e in the uk). Its got an 885 head on it, hartge manifold etc.(soon to have a euro bumper conversion).

But the rocker cover seems to be a standard eta item. The throttle body also, but there is a "neuspeed" sticker on the throttle body. I understand they were a U.S tuner.

Did they ever do uprated inlets/bodys for the eta engine?

I could be wrong, but that era they were VW only, and barely braking into the Honda market.

And even their oversize throttlebody was just a inverted A2 piece with A1 linkage bolted on. It was a fair deal if you didn't know better, but for $35 you could replicate a $300 part if you were a smart junkyard shopper.

    But I could be wrong.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

Talk about older 80's stuff. They sold EU throttle bodies badges with their name so if you measure it, it will probably just be an i TB. They did not extrude hone squat for intakes as it was way to expensive as it still is today for the most part.

They did BMW stuff from 85 to about 89 but in limited fashion.
